February 2012 Exterior House Painting
We initially asked Bryan from PBF to come and quote the exterior of our house for repainting. Bryan met with us and explained in detail what to expect from PBF. He spoke to us about the guarantee then he measured the job. Bryan came back a week later and presented us with a very detailed written plan showing all of the options. We chose to go with the 10 year guarantee option because it works out much more economical in the long term. The guarantee gives us great assurance and will certainly add value to the house.
After accepting the quote, the scaffold was installed. We then witnessed the extent of the preparation involved, including stripping the old paint and applying layers of timber preservers and primers before the painting was started. Mike from Resene also popped in several times to check on the work. This gave us a lot of confidence that work was done correctly.
We have since also had the interior of our house plastered and repainted by PBF. We chose PBF over a cheaper quote because we have seen that PBF tradesmen prepare their work carefully and take their time to do things the right way. We are very happy with our choice as the rooms they have painted look fantastic. Since PBF did the work at our place we have referred several friends and neighbours to PBF. I do not make recommendations lightly and I am pleased to say that our friends have also been really impressed with the service provided by PBF.

I was in Tauranga, organising our home in Auckland, which had to be completely stripped, plastered and painted all before our new baby arrived, a time frame of just over 2 weeks.

“We have recently undertaken an internal renovation of our home. Having had cheap paint jobs in the past, in which the preparation work was not very well done, the paint began peeling off in a very short time. My wife Maggie recommended PBF. She had seen the quality of their work at a renovation she worked on not far from us. We contacted PBF and Bryan Swainson the project manager gave us a quote. The quote was very reasonable and Bryan along with his foreman Daniel soon had a large team of very good painters in the house. This enabled them to get through the job very quickly. Daniel insisted on a good quality job from preparation to the final finish.

PBF Carried out the painting of our two storey home earlier this year. This was a large job carried out during a very wet autumn and early winter.
Throughout the process we had the utmost cooperation from everybody in the PBF team, from arranging the guarantee by the paint manufacturer through to satisfactory completion of the job.
